Christians in Allied Health!
We can’t wait to meet more of you in person so that we can be encouraged and equipped in our faith in Jesus as allied health professionals.
We will be joining in alongside the Nurses and Midwives throughout but have planned a two-part session just for us Christians in Allied Health on Friday.
We are not just bodies, we know that, but how can we; professionally, biblically, lovingly and respectfully acknowledge spiritual needs in our work?
"Is this even possible? How to (and not to) do it well? And, well, why bother?"
We’re are so thankful that PT Lesley Dawson and DR Andy Charley (experts from PRIME) will be leading these sessions! They are passionate about seeing multi-disciplinary teams working well together and Gods kingdom coming in and through the work we do. They will be taking us through the principles of ‘Whole Person Care’ with the conviction that “everyone should have access to healthcare that provides for the whole person: body, mind and spirit, delivered with competence, compassion, respect and integrity”.
We’ll be looking at what God has to say to us about this from the Bible, have plenty of time for discussion and of course, time to pray together. Part A (11.00am-12.30pm) will focus more on teaching and Part B (2.00-3.00pm) will be workshop and scenario practice-based. Lesley and Andy want these sessions to be interactive, informative and, transformative from the get go – it’s sure to be a blessing!
Come along with any questions and experiences to share. Come for fellowship over delicious food. Come as you are – whether feeling like a warrior or wearied in the battle...
We are praying that those who attend will be built up in their faith and encouraged in their work for the glory of God!
There is something brilliant about coming together in person to offer up this time set aside to see how God wants to use it.
Might we grow together in fruitfulness on the frontline of our workplaces!

NAMfest with CiAH is a pre-conference event that runs on into the Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF) annual conference.
This years Dan Strange takes us through parts of Isaiah to help reorient our focus and identity on our BIG GOD!
Many of us will be staying on for this so please consider if you’d like to as well. There will be plenty of seminars and sessions suited for AHP's so don't be put off at all that it's ran by medics, nurses and midwives.
